A wooden watchtower from old Japan – one of the earlier forms of yagura corner towers. It is a simple structure made from wooden beams in a square. They were used as watchtowers in earlier castles and were erected on the battlefield to provide commanders with a better view. Please note the smaller watchtower consists of tier 1 and 3 parts. Tier 2 parts come with the larger tower only. |

Battlefield curtains, or jinmaku, were used by feudal-era samurai as temporary structures for commanders and military meetings. Sumo Ring
An ancient sumo wrestling ring from old Japan. A large stone/clay base and steps lead up to the sacred dohyō ring (actually made from small rice bails), and the whole structure is covered by an ornate tiled roof. It measures 167mm (6½”) tall, with a table footprint of 185mm x 125mm (7½” x 5″).
